Wow.....swapped the Faith Hill dvd for the Herbie Hancock Future2Future dvd.

while the faith hill dvd was cool, and I ADORE vinnie's pop/rock playing, the dvd didnt have much replay value.

while the herbie dvd is absolutely great. and i had not seen terri play before and was intrigued.

i LOVE her playing. very tasteful and very earthy sounding. she has a lovely feel and really plays from the heart. and herbie and the band are amazing as u can imagine.....especially matt garrison.....what an awesome bass player!!

why is terri so under-rated or not talked about much? where else (apart from her solo disc) can i hear he playing.....dvd or cd's?

Teri gets A LOT of work. I
know that some think of her
being a woman, as some kind
of drawback - as if she is
not as strong etc. That's a
load of dung. It's an advant-
age. I went to school with
her and at the time, I thought
she was in danger of NOT dev-
eloping. She not only has
developed... she's becoming
more than I ever thought she
would be. She's a great drum-
mer and a credit to women...
a real inspiration.

Ditto, P, on the Sketchb thing.
& that "talk show" u ref'd to was, if i'm not mistaken, Arsenio Hall [Vinnie was actually the orig drummer; he was Joan Rivers' when it switched over to Arsenio? - then TLC]

...I can't believe I missed TLC w Herbie Hancock here 2 wks ago [& for FREE no less] at the outdoor jazz fest....
